Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins is back to training 11 months after rupturing his muscle fiber.

The former Birmingham City player suffered the injury during Shanghai
Shenhua’s Asian Champions League game against Kashima Antlers in April last year.

The 34 year old, who later underwent a successful surgery in London and had since been out of action, posted a 37 seconds video of his workout on his Instagram page.

“Work in progress”, the former Inter Milan and Levante forward said alongside the video.

Martins netted 19 times in 40 Chinese Super League matches since he made his debut in 2015 for Shanghai Shenhua.

He also has 18 goals in 42 games for the Super Eagles.
