Liverpool came from behind to defeat Burnley at Anfield as pressure heightens for League toppers Manchester City.

Liverpool fought back to beat Burnley 4 - 2
with Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane scoring twice each.

The Clarets took a surprise 6th minute lead when Ashley Westwood scored direct from a corner.

Thirteen minutes later, Firmino levelled back up for the Reds after Tom Heaton had fumbled Mohamed Salah's cross.

Still in first half, Liverpool took the lead when Sadio Mane curled a shot past Heaton.

Firmino scored his second following Heaton's poor clearance and Burnley pulled one back late on through Johann Berg Gudmundsson from six yards out.

As posted on Liverpool FC's official twitter account:

Mane netted his second and Liverpool's fourth goal of the game to seal the win for the Reds.

With eight games left of the season, Jurgen Klopp's side is second on the table, just one point behind League toppers Manchester City who defeated Watford 3 - 1 on Saturday with English forward Raheed Sterling netting all three goals.
