Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appointed Manchester United Manager

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been appointed by Manchester United as permanent Manager on a three-year contract.
The 46-year old Norwegian, arrived at Old Trafford on an interim basis in December to replace Jose Mourinho.

As a Man United player, Solskjaer spent 11 seasons, netting the winning goal in the 1999 Champions League final.
Solskjaer said: "This is the job that I always dreamed of doing and I'm beyond excited to have the chance to lead the club long term."
