COVID-19: Inter squad free from disease
Inter Milan |
Inter announced that all the COVID-19 swab and blood tests on players and staff have come back negative.
Evey Serie A club is putting it's squad and
behind the scenes workers through blanket testing, including at least two swabs and a blood sample.
If anyone is found to be positive for coronavirus before the start of group training on Monday, then they will be isolated.
The medica protocol has still not been finalised for what happens if a player tests positive after group testing has started, because the government wants the entire squad quarantined for 15 days, whereas the Clubs and Players' Association are pushing to isolate only the infected figure.
"FC Internazionale Milano announces that all the results from Friday's medical tests on the Clubs' players, coaching staff, management staff and the remainder of the team group have returned as negative," read a statement.
