Chukwueze believes Villarreal can make it to Europa League

Villarreal's hopes of qualifying for the Europa League next season received a boost after they squeeze out a lone goal victory against against Real Mallorca on Tuesday.

Villarreal are placed seventh after Tuesday's win with 44 points, two points behind Atletico Madrid who are sixth with 46 points, and a game not played.

Nigerian winger Samuel Chukwueze said, the aim of Villarreal is to make it to the Europa League next season.

The Nigeria international told La Liga TV: “This is just the start of the league, three months without playing, from now
we are just recovering from the pandemic, I think we played well, maybe next
game will be much better.”

“I feel so happy, more will come. We need to look forward because we want
to reach the Europa League.

“That is our dream and target, if we keep on playing like this we will reach
the Europa.”

The El Submarino Amarillo (The Yellow Submarine) will play against Granada in La Liga fixture on Friday.

This season, Chukwueze has recorded three goals and four assists for the Spanish top flight outfit.
