Covid-19: Roma forward Perez test positive

Roma forward Carles Perez has tested positive for coronavirus. ‘I feel well and I’m totally asymptomatic’.

Perez is the second Giallorossi player who tests positive for COVID-19, as goalkeeper Antonio Mirante confirmed he had received a positive result last Wednesday.

“Two days ago, to check my health before starting the preparations with the rest of the team, I took a swab for COVID-19,” Perez wrote on Instagram. “Today they communicated the result to me.

“Unfortunately, it’s positive, but fortunately I feel well and I’m totally asymptomatic, although I will remain in isolation until the test is negative.

“When the doctors allow it, I will join my teammates to work and I’m more motivated than ever.”
