Inter Milan revive Vidal negotiations

Antonio Conte has requested that Inter sign Arturo Vidal, so with the earthquake going on in Barcelona, he could well get his wish.

The coach has never disguised his desire to work with the Chile international again after their impressive time together at Juventus.


A bid was already made to bring him in last summer and again in January, but the €10m asking price was considered excessive.

The 33-year-old is only under contract until June 2021 and many reports say he is one of the players who new Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman told to find himself a new club.

Inter are ready to welcome him with open arms, but again don’t wish to over-pay for the veteran.

According to Sky Sport Italia, negotiations have already begun with Vidal’s agent, who also represents Alexis Sanchez.

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio claims the plan is to agree personal terms with Vidal and then hope Barcelona will be backed into a corner, ready to accept a lower fee.
