Premier League Player Of The Month: Nigeria star Kelechi Iheanacho wins award for March
Leicester City Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho has clinched the Premier League Player Of The Month Award for March.

Iheanacho became the fourth Nigerian player to win the award after scoring five goals out of eleven shots.
Past Nigerian winners of the award are Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, Peter Odemwingie and Odion Ighalo.
The 24-year old is also the first Leicester City player to win the award since English striker Jamie Vardy in October 2019.
Since the turn of the year, Iheanacho has been in form for the Foxes and has netted eight goals so far in 2021 for Brendan Rogers side in all competitions.
Iheanacho, last month, took his form to another level when he scored in three successive top flight encounters for the first time in his career.

After the Premier League POTM award, Iheanacho told Leicester City official website: "I’m so pleased and honored to win this award.
“I’m really enjoying playing at the minute and hopefully I can push on and help the team to finish as high as possible this season.”
Kelechi Iheanacho scored his first Premier League hat-trick when Leicester City battered Sheffield United 5-0 in March.
