Ibrahima Traoré, Captain of the Syli Stars of Guinea, has said, it would amount to deception to think that his side can qualify for the next round of the Africa Cup Of Nations 2019 ahead of Nigeria.


Guinea have been drawn in Group B of the tournament alongside Nigeria, who are three-time winners, first-timers Burundi and Madagascar.

Traoré admitted that he wasn't familiar with Burundi and Madagascar.

The Captain has also tipped the Super Eagles to win Group B because of their pedigree in Africa and the world.

“At first glance, we already see who is the favorite. There is no need to delude yourself...A team that plays the world cup. So, automatically, I think Nigeria is the favorite."

“Then there is us. As I heard, everyone is waiting for us to go without worries. However, there is Madagascar and Burundi which...I do not know well," he told foot224.com after the draw on Friday.
