With a start date for fixtures around June 13, the rush is on to get the campaign concluded during the peak of summer.
According to Spanish Newspaper AS, that will mean a game set for every single day of the week, with teams allowed at least 72 hours between matches.
Due to the extreme heat, some fixtures will kick off as late as 11 pm, meaning they will start on one day and conclude the next morning.
The aim will be to conclude the season by July 29, so they can then prepare for the Champions League and Europa League in August.
The medical protocol will be similar to the German model, so if any player or member of staff tests positive for COVID-19, they will be isolated and the others all retested.
