'Let us give Rohr the support he needs to succeed' - Former NFF Boss Green

Former Chairman technical committee member of the NFF Christopher Green has called on Nigerians to support Super Eagles Coach Gernot Rohr in order to succeed.


Green, who has been the number one critic of the Franco-German has finally backed the coach to be successful in his renewed stint as the technical adviser of the Super Eagles.

“When the Nigerian teams are not playing well some of us are not happy, we can’t sleep well, and whatever it is at the end of the day let’s have a team that will bring laughter and joy to the faces of Nigerians.”

“So let us give Gernot Rohr the support he needs to succeed as the coach of the Super Eagles team,” he said.

Rohr has been in charge of the Nigerian national football team since August 2016, leading the 2013 African champions to a third-place finish at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
