El Shaarawy witnessed a thief who smashed the window of his car, planning to steal it, reveals the broadcaster.
The star shocked the thief himself and stopped him from getting away with the crime before the intervention of Police officers.

The newspaper reveals the Italy international, who recently returned to Rome after a spell in China, ran after the thief and the chase reportedly ended with a tackle.
Recently, El Shaarawy, 28, signed a deal with the Giallorossi until 2023, however, he's yet to field for Coach Paulo Fonseca since his return to Italy.
