2022 World Cup Qualifying (UEFA): Kazakhstan 0-2 France - Les Bleus secure first victory in Astana
An Ousmane Dembele strike and an own goal gave France a 2-0 victory over Kazakhstan in Astana on Sunday afternoon, as Didier Deschamps' men secured their first win in Group D of World Cup qualifying.

Anthony Martial turned well in midfield before releasing Dembele, who coolly finished into the bottom corner past a despairing Aleksandr Mokin.
Les Bleus managed to double their lead just before the half-time whistle when Serhiy Malyi - who had just forced a corner with one of the best goal-line clearances you're ever likely to see - headed into his own net from the subsequent Antoine Griezmann delivery.
Kylian Mbappe's introduction on the hour mark changed the complexion of the game with an added vigour. The Paris Saint Germain star eventually won a penalty in the 75th minute with some wonderful feet, but frustratingly had his spot kick saved by 39-year old Mokin. 90min
