Top 10 Nations: Nigeria's position in latest FIFA CAF ranking

Nigeria ranked third in the latest FIFA CAF ranking behind Senegal and Tunisia who are ranked first and second respectively.


Algeria and Morocco are fourth and fifth respectively.

According to Goal:

Nigeria’s best ranking was in April 1994 when they reached the 5th position following their success at the Africa Cup of Nations where they emerged as champions for the second time in their history.
The Super Eagles finished third at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt after defeating Tunisia in the semi-finals.
