Parma have announced one of their players has tested positive for COVID-19, although he is asymptomatic and has not been in contact with his teammates.
Pre-season training has started, which means all the players and staff must undergo blanket swab and blood tests for the coronavirus.
A statement from the club announced that all the tests came back negative except for one player.
He has no symptoms and has been placed into isolation, so has not come into contact with the rest of the squad.
It has been an eventful day for the Ducali, who also confirmed their new coach is Fabio Liverani.
