Giacomo Bonaventura has reportedly decided to join Roma as a free agent when he leaves Milan, preferring them to Atalanta, Torino and Arsenal.

The midfielder's current contract at San Siro expires this summer and he is walking away after ten years with the club.

According to Corriere di Bergamo Newspaper, the 30-year old has chosen his next destination and it will be Roma.

There was also interest from his first club Atalanta, as well as Torino and Premier League side Arsenal.

It seems as if the Giallorossi project was enough to convince him for a move further south.

Bonaventura made 19 competitive appearances for Milan this season, scoring three goals.
