Ibrahimovic close to signing with AC Milan
AC Milan Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic |
Milan are close to renewing with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, reportedly meeting in the middle for a one-year deal at €6m.
Technical director Paolo Maldini confirmed the former Sweden international was the club’s ‘priority’ this summer and Calciomercato.com reveals the Diavolo have reshaped their proposal to fit the veteran’s request.
Previous reports have claimed Ibrahimovic asked for €7.5m and Milan offered €5m plus bonuses, reaching a total tally around €6m if triggered.
There’s no difference on the total amount in the new offer, but the report insists Milan are close to reaching an agreement with the 38-year-old after having changed the conditions in the deal.
The bonuses are lowered, with the fixed salary increased and Ibrahimovic is allegedly content with the current situation.
Calciomercato.com expects the official announcement to arrive in the next 24 hours and that Ibra will stay at San Siro in 2020-21.
