Coppa Italia Brawl: Ibrahimovic and Lukaku fines go to charity

Fines imposed on Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku will be donated to charity, AC Milan and Inter announce.

Both players were involved in an extended and displeasing exchange of insults during the Coppa Italia match on January 26.


The former Manchester United stars had the argument in English.

Both strikers were charged with unsportsmanlike conduct, an investigation reveals.


A statement from the two clubs confirm both players will donate their fines to charity.

The sum has not yet been clarified, as they are in the process of a plea deal with the FIGC.
